LaGuardia airport crash: CCTV footage shows Air Canada Express jet colliding with fire truck

CCTV footage recorded from a screen on Sunday (March 22) showed the moment an Air Canada Express jet collided with a fire truck at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. The crashed aircraft with its crushed cockpit pointing skyward remained visible at the airport on Monday (March 23). Some flights resumed later that afternoon, but the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the runway where the accident took place would be closed until Friday (March 27), which will likely cause delays throughout the week.
