Spectacular views and IKEA furniture
The apartment offers spectacular views of the city. “Perched on a high floor, every window takes in the city views she loves—water towers, decorative brick and tilework, arches and columns, and rooftop gardens,” Architectural Digest reported.Moore also paid particular attention to the interior design. The actress said most of the changes were cosmetic because the previous owners, who had lived there for 20 years, had “exquisite taste” and had “beautifully maintained” the apartment. “There was a lot of editing, reducing patterns, simplifying, adding storage,” she told Architectural Digest.
A pantry was added to the kitchen, while Freundlich managed to fit a king-size bed into the primary bedroom while leaving enough space for Moore to practise yoga, the report added.
As for the furnishings, the apartment features a mix of pieces Moore and her husband already owned and items purchased specifically for the duplex.

For instance, the actress retained a Paavo Tynell light fixture from her former home, along with dining chairs she bought in Paris in 1995. Notably, according to The Realtor, she also uses IKEA furniture to store dishes in a corner of her kitchen, which has limited storage space.
The Oscar-winning actress has several art pieces in her new home. These include a work by an artist named Four that holds eggs in the kitchen, a mirror made by Isabel Rower, and a collection of ceramic objects cast in bronze. The collection includes objects resembling AirPods and a cassette tape in the living room, according to The Realtor.
Moore’s other real estate investments
According to the Realtor, Moore and her family also own a “big house in Montauk.” They previously owned a cottage in the same area, which they sold for $2.85 million. The Economic Times Business News App for the Latest News in Business, Sensex, Stock Market Updates & More.
