Joe Biden announces additional 100 million Johnson & Johnson vaccine doses
President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that his administration has secured an additional 100 million doses of the single-shot vaccine developed by Johnson & Johnson. The president was speaking at a White House event with executives from Johnson & Johnson and Merck, rival companies both producing doses of the new vaccine. Biden thanked both companies for "putting patriotism and public health first."
