Jay Bhattacharya: Trump’s NIH chief is a doc, economist who opposed lockdowns

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford professor, to lead the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Bhattacharya, the first Indian-American tapped for a top Trump administration post, will collaborate with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to address critical health challenges. Trump also nominated Jim O'Neill as deputy secretary of Health and Human Services.
