‘It’s going to happen…’: Trump voices support of reunification of Ireland during Dublin visit
US President Donald Trump has reignited the debate over Irish unity during his visit to Dublin, saying he would 'love to see' Ireland reunited and describing a united Ireland as a “fantastic thing.” Speaking alongside Taoiseach Micheal Martin, Trump acknowledged that Britain would have a view on the issue but questioned how Irish reunification could be a bad thing.
