BANGKOK: The sixth year of leadership forum One Young World will see likes of former UN General Secretary, Kofi Anan, musician and activist Bob Geldof, founder of Grameen Bank-Muhammad Yunus and Father Mussie Zerai, nominee for the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize; discussing with young achievers on areas of focus for global communities.

Around 1,300 delegates will attend the event from across corporates, startups who although under 30, are creating an impact through their work and leadership. “The youth are the most informed and educated and issues faced by them are global issues,” said Kate Robertson is co-founder of One Young World, the global youth leadership forum she set up with David Jones.

Jones, former Global CEO of Havas and one of the founding members of the Facebook Client Council added that topics ranging from sex harassment to migrant crisis come from these delegates and often create a ripple effect where others pick it up and work towards them.
