Israeli attack shuts Gaza's last major hospital, IDF launches operations over terrorist threats

Gaza's last major health facility, Kamal Adwan Hospital, shut down after an Israeli strike killed five medical staff, according to the WHO. Israeli troops stormed the hospital, forcing staff and patients to strip in the cold. The military denied entering or setting fire to the complex but accused Hamas of using it as cover. The Health Ministry reported significant damage, including fires in several areas, and claimed Israeli troops detained staff. U.N. spokesperson Stephanie Tremblay highlighted the endangerment of lives and violations of international law protection for hospitals.
