Israel, US face isolation at UN; Saudi Arabia, Iran, India, Canada & Russia back Gaza ceasefire call
On Tuesday, the United Nations issued a call for a humanitarian ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war. Over 75% of the 193-member General Assembly voted in favour of this resolution. 153 countries voted in favour of the ceasefire, 10 voted against it, and 23 abstained.
