Israel PM Netanyahu praises Trump's effort after retrieval of last slain Israeli hostage amid Gaza war

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised U.S. President Donald Trump's effort in bringing back Israeli hostages held in Gaza, after the remains of the last hostage were recovered on Monday (January 26). "People didn't believe that we'd get the 20 alive hostages. With President Trump's help, we got them out," said Netanyahu during a conference against antisemitism in Jerusalem on Monday evening. The remains of police officer Ran Gvili - held in Gaza for more than 840 days - were escorted by a police convoy from the Gaza border and towards Israel’s Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv.
