Israel: Gaza ceasefire deal gets security cabinet nod; Ben Gvir threatens to quit Netanyahu govt

Israel’s security cabinet has voted in favour of a Gaza ceasefire and hostage release agreement. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged the security cabinet to approve the agreement. Israeli and Hamas negotiators resolved the remaining disputes to bring a likely end to 15 months of war. The deal will likely be approved in two rounds of voting over the next two days.
