New York City officials are investigating an explosive device attack at a protest near Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s residence as a possible ISIS-inspired act of terrorism. The incident occurred on Saturday outside Gracie Mansion during an anti-Islam demonstration organized by far-right activists. Two men, Emir Balat and Ibrahim Kayumi, allegedly traveled from Pennsylvania to carry out the attack, throwing improvised explosive devices capable of causing serious injury or death.
