Iran's Mojtaba Khamenei slams 'ruthless American and Zionist enemy' in Islamic Republic Day message
Iran's supreme leader slammed the "ruthless American and Zionist enemy", the latter referring to Israel, in a letter marking Islamic Republic Day on Tuesday (April 1). With the conflict in its fifth week, Mojtaba Khamenei accused the two nations of having "no regard for the boundaries of humanity, morality, or life." He also condemned the attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh School that Tehran says killed more than 175 people, including children and teachers, on the first day of joint US-Israeli strikes on the country.
