Iranians in France demand Khamenei’s regime change, slam crackdown on protests

Anti-Khamenei regime protest erupted in the capital city of France, Paris on January 17. Demonstrators were expressing their solidarity with protesters in Iran calling for regime change. Iran's Khamenei on January 17 blamed U.S. Prez Trump for ‘deadly’ protest that rights groups said have led to more than 3,000 deaths. The protests across the Iran erupted on December 28, 2025 over economic hardship. The ‘massive’ anti-govt protest in Iran celled for the end of Islamic Republic. Earlier, Trump has repeatedly threatened to intervene in Iran with "very strong action”. Later, he confirmed that Iran had cancelled the scheduled ‘800’ execution after his ‘pressure tactics’. U.S.-based Human Rights Activists News Agency, said it had verified 3,090 deaths, including 2,885 protesters, & over 22,000 arrests, Reuters reported.
