Iranian missile hits a residential building in Israel’s Haifa; rescue operations underway

A residential building in Haifa has partially collapsed after being struck by a missile, leaving multiple people injured and others feared trapped beneath the rubble. Search and rescue teams combed through the rubble of a residential building in Haifa on Sunday (April 5) after an Iranian missile struck the northern Israeli city. Israeli paramedics said they were treating nine people, including an elderly man in a serious condition who was hit by a heavy object. Other casualties suffered mild shrapnel and blast injuries. Four additional people were treated for anxiety symptoms. Night-time footage showed teams gathering near the damaged building and working through debris as rescue operations continued.
