Nuclear tensions flare as Iran defies fresh US threats, refuses to halt uranium enrichment or surrender stockpile
Iran will neither halt uranium enrichment nor hand over its uranium, the country's Atomic Energy Organization chief Mohammad Eslami said on Thursday, reaffirming Tehran's position amid renewed US threats targeting its nuclear facilities, reported Reuters.

According to Iranian state media, Eslami dismissed the latest US warnings as "nothing new" and maintained that uranium enrichment remained "an inseparable part" of the country's nuclear process.

His remarks signal Iran's continued refusal to give up uranium enrichment activities or surrender its uranium despite pressure from Washington.
