Iran vows war to continue till ‘enemy’s surrender’, warns US-Israel of ‘more destructive’ actions
Iran's military vowed on Thursday to carry out "crushing" attacks against the United States and Israel after US President Donald Trump threatened to bomb the country into the "Stone Ages" in the coming weeks.

"With trust in Almighty God, this war will continue until your humiliation, disgrace, permanent and certain regret, and surrender," said the military's operational command Khatam Al-Anbiya in a statement carried by state TV.

"Await our more crushing, broader, and more destructive actions."

The remarks come on the same day that US President Donald Trump said Iran’s military capabilities had been significantly weakened, asserting that American actions had curtailed Tehran’s ability to advance its missile and nuclear programmes.

In a national address, Trump described the campaign as a pre-emptive effort aimed at neutralising long-term security threats, particularly the risk of a nuclear-armed Iran.

The comments on both sides come amid heightened tensions in West Asia following weeks of hostilities involving Iran, Israel and allied forces. The conflict has seen multiple rounds of strikes targeting military infrastructure, air defence systems and strategic facilities, raising concerns over a broader regional escalation.

Washington has maintained that its actions are aimed at curbing Iran’s strategic and military capabilities, while Israel has said its operations are focused on countering immediate and long-term security threats.

Tehran, however, has repeatedly stated it is responding to what it calls aggression against its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

There has been no immediate response from US or Israeli officials to the latest remarks from Iran’s military spokesperson.

The current phase of the conflict began last month after a series of coordinated strikes and counter-strikes between Iran and Israel, with the United States subsequently joining operations in support of its ally.

Since then, the conflict has continued to intensify, with repeated exchanges of fire and heightened military preparedness across the region.
