New Delhi: An Indian national was killed and three wounded in a drone strike in Moscow Region, according to the Embassy of India in Russia. The incident occurred overnight amid a large-scale Ukrainian kamikaze drone raid on the Russian capital and its adjoining areas. The attack appears to be the biggest to affect the area in over a year.

India's Embassy stated that it is now "closely cooperating with the company's management and local authorities" and providing the "necessary assistance" to the victims. "Today in the Moscow region, as a result of a drone attack, one citizen of India was killed and three others were injured. Embassy staff traveled to the scene of the incident and visited the victims in the hospital," the Indian mission said in a statement.
