KATHMANDU: The Indian Embassy in Nepal today denied reports of one of its vehicles being burnt by cadres of some political parties.

"Fire in the personal vehicle of an #EmbassyofIndia - Kathmandu personnel, today, was an accident due to technical fault, no one is hurt," the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu tweeted.

The Himalayan Times reported that cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN-Maoist had claimed to have torched the vehicle.
