Horseshoe bats
Initial research had pointed to the bats as likely source. The horseshoe bats have been found to have the closest match to the Coronavirus. Around 19 species of horseshoe bats is found in Thailand. They are yet to be tested for coronavirus, AP reported.

The AP report stated that Thai scientists trapped some 200 bats from three different caves at the Sai Yok National Park.
