'I’m relying on Kevin': Trump’s surprising response after interest rate hike despite his push for 1%

President Donald Trump says he still has confidence in Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh despite the Fed raising interest rates by 0.25% — the first hike in three years. Trump has repeatedly pushed for much lower borrowing costs, even calling for rates to fall to 1% or lower. After the decision, however, Trump said, “I’m relying on Kevin,” while arguing that interest rates remain too high and pointing to a 'very tough' Fed board.
