‘If not today, then tomorrow’: Netanyahu warns Hamas, promises to bring back every hostage
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed during Jerusalem Day ceremonies on May 26 to bring back all hostages. Speaking at Ammunition Hill, he said, ‘If we don’t achieve it today, we will achieve it tomorrow... we are not letting go of it.’ He emphasised Israel’s mission to defeat Hamas, bring back 148 hostages so far, and secure the release of others still alive. Netanyahu acknowledged Hamas’s stubbornness but reaffirmed Israel’s resolve to continue the fight until Hamas is eradicated.
