ICE vs protesters: Several arrested as New Yorkers clash with federal agents in Manhattan
Activists in New York City protested near a General Services Administration (GSA) parking lot on Saturday (November 29) to prevent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from leaving for an immigration raid in the Manhattan borough of New York City. U.S. President Donald Trump has surged immigration officers to major cities across the U.S. in an effort to reach historic levels of deportations, sweeping in many long-term residents and non-criminals.
