‘ICE off campus!’: 12 anti-ICE protesters arrested outside Columbia University
Professors, students and supporters staged an anti-U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement protest outside Columbia University on Thursday (February 5), briefly shutting down traffic on Broadway before police moved in and arrested 12 people. Demonstrators held a sit-in in the middle of Broadway at 116th Street, chanting "Shut it down!" as New York City police officers repeatedly warned them to clear the roadway.
