'I dropped F-bomb, they killed somebody': Minneapolis Mayor Frey blasts Trump after ICE shooting
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey held a news conference on Friday to call for a fair investigation into the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shooting that killed a 37-year-old woman on the first day of an immigration crackdown in the city. The investigation into the deadly shooting was taken over by the FBI on Thursday, sidelining state authorities and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). State officials and the FBI were previously conducting a joint investigation, but a statement released by the BCA says, "the FBI informed the BCA that the U.S. Attorney’s Office had reversed course: the investigation would now be led solely by the FBI, and the BCA would no longer have access to the case materials, scene evidence or investigative interviews necessary to complete a thorough and independent investigation."
