How coronavirus is affecting elections around the world

Covid-19 has disrupted election schedules across continents, from general elections in Ethiopia, Iran, Serbia and Bolivia to US presidential primaries.

While India has already deferred Rajya Sabha elections and some bye elections due to the pandemic, the Election Commission of India is closely examining all options and possibilities for the post-lockdown phase.
