'Highly concerned' | China urges for immediate ceasefire after US, Israel strikes in Iran
China has issued its first official reaction to the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel, saying that American and Israeli strikes on Iran violate international law and risk destabilising the wider region. According to news agency Reuters, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China said it is “highly concerned” about the potential spillover of the fighting and urged all parties to immediately halt military operations.
