New guidelines for the death game
As the Blue Whale challenge continues claiming lives in an alarming rate, the Forensic Science Laboratories have come up with a set of guidelines to verify whether or not a particular suicide is related to the deadly game.

The objective
Hundreds of scores of death were reported from all over the world, with more than 130 deaths from Russia itself.
The aim of the FSL guidelines would be to prevent the Police from wasting their resources on blind-end investigations and failing to identify between spurious and genuine suicides.

Checklist for the Police
The Police have been instructed to do a thorough probing when investigating such cases and ascertain whether the victim was involved in self-inflected harm, have an image of a carved whale on his body or woke up early to perform 'tasks' ordered by the curators.

Web history might reveal the secret
Check the victim's internet history and look for certain links on his computer if the participant erased his web search history from his phone.

A passive brainwash
The challenge starts with comparatively easy tasks like waking up around midnight, going to barren places alone, watching psychedelic videos and scary movies etc, and as the game progresses, the challenges increase in complexity too.

Dare to die
In the secondary levels, the participants are asked to indulge in self-harm and initiate arms/wrist and lip-cutting, poking needles and causing blunt injuries to themselves before they are given the final task of suicide.
