Heavy security presence at Georgia State Capitol ahead of Joe Biden's inauguration
The threat of extremist groups demonstrating at statehouses across the country prompted some governors to roll out a show of force and ramp up security Sunday, less than two weeks after a mob overran the nation's Capitol. At the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta, Georgia State Patrol officials were joined by National Guard troops and their armored vehicles.
