US Vice President JD Vance has raised questions over how the Omani co-pilot accused of attacking the captain of a FlyDubai flight was allowed to return to the cockpit despite previous concerns about him. Vance said the case raised questions about aviation security and pilot screening. “If you look historically, that person should not have been flying an airline," he said.
