The Department of Homeland Security has criticised California Governor Gavin Newsom after an illegal immigrant released by state authorities went on to kill six people in a drunk-driving crash. Beto Cerillo-Bialva, a Mexican national with a long criminal record and multiple prior deportations, was released despite an ICE detainer.
