Greek poll gives leftists slight lead over conservatives
ATHENS: Greece's leftist Syriza party has a 0.3 per centage-point lead over the conservative New Democracy party, a poll showed on Thursday, three days before a national election.

The poll conducted by Alco for the Newsit.gr website put support for Syriza at 25.3 per cent versus 25 per cent for New Democracy. Far-right Golden Dawn ranked third with 6.2 per cent.

The poll put those undecided at 10 per cent while 5.3 per cent said they would not vote.
