GOP gets big redistricting win; Missouri court allows Trump-backed House map to be used in midterms

A Missouri judge has handed US President Donald Trump and Republicans a major victory in the state's redistricting battle ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Cole County Circuit Judge Daniel Green ruled that Missouri's referendum process cannot be used to challenge congressional maps enacted by the state Legislature. The decision keeps a Trump-backed, Republican-friendly congressional map in place for the 2026 general election.
