Germany’s Merz proposes zero tariffs on US: 'We don't want trade war'
Germany's chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz said on Monday (April 28) he would urge US President Donald Trump to ‘go to zero’ on all tariffs. Merz suggested mutual recognition of technological standards between Germany and the US.
