France seizes Russian tanker in Mediterranean; Zelenskyy hails Macron’s move, calls to sell the oil
France has seized a Russian oil tanker in the Mediterranean, suspected of being part of Moscow’s shadow fleet used to evade sanctions. President Emmanuel Macron said the vessel was coming from Russia under sanctions, as the UK confirmed support in tracking the tanker. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky praised the move, calling it the resolve needed to stop Russian oil from funding the war.
