Firefly Music Festival evacuated due to severe weather

LOS ANGELES: The third day of ongoing Firefly Music Festival 2015 ended early with a forced evacuation due to severe weather in Dover, Delaware.

Festival-goers were ushered out of the forested grounds due to a massive storm that hung over the festival for the second half of the day, said the Hollywood Reporter.

Those camping just outside festival grounds were urged to "seek shelter in their vehicles," according to a Firefly representative.

"It's in your best interests to leave," the representative took the microphone and urged the listeners to evacuate.

Singer Kid Cudi performed five songs on the third day of the annual music event before his set was cut off 20 minutes into the show due to inclement weather.
