EU set to impose new sanctions on Israel over Gaza war on September 17: Paula Pinho, spokesperson

EU commissioners will on Wednesday (September 17) agree to impose new sanctions against Israel over its war in Gaza, a spokesperson for the commission said on Tuesday (September 16). "Tomorrow, commissioners will be adopting a package of measures on Israel," spokesperson Paula Pinho told reporters. "Specifically, a proposal to suspend certain trade provisions in the agreements between the EU and Israel."
