Donald Trump won’t release medical exam results on Dr. Oz show

WASHINGTON: Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was set to tape an interview on “The Dr. Oz Show” on Wednesday morning but it wouldn’t be on his medical reports or recent physical exam, senior campaign aides said.

Trump at the New York City taping planned to have a conversation with host Mehmet Oz about wellbeing, being active, and positive thinking, said one of the aides, who spoke to reporters on a conference call on the condition of anonymity.

The campaign still intends to soon release more medical information on Trump, the aide said.

Trump, 70, said on Monday on Fox News that he had undergone a physical exam within the last week and would release “very, very specific numbers” from it.

Democrats have criticised him for attacking Clinton’s transparency on health even after he released just a four-paragraph letter from a doctor last year.
