Donald Trump supporters turn assassination attempt injury into a fashion statement in support of the Republican

A video from the Convention that surfaced online showed Trump followers impersonating his bandaged look in a sign of support for him.
While some Republicans wore small pieces of paper, some were seen with a completely covered ear and the words "fight, fight, fight" written over the material. The size and shape of the ear piece may have varied for different Republicans, but they all had one thing in common: the object was placed on their left ears, akin to Trump's bandage.
Taking to his social media platform Truth Social platform, Trump said, "It was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening."
Trump made his first public appearance after the failed assassination attempt at the RNC convention in Milwaukee on Monday. He won the support of Republicans with an overwhelming majority ahead of the November 5 Presidential elections in the US.
On the other hand, Trump's contender and US President Joe Biden is struggling to regain the Democrats' confidence, who are turning against his re-election bid following a disastrous debate.
Biden performed poorly at the June 27 presidential debate in Atlanta, after which even his own party colleagues are asking him to drop from the race. Biden has rejected such calls.
"Joe Biden doesn't have time for Donald Trump's weird antics - he's busy leading America and defending the free world. Donald Trump is a liar, a convict, and a fraud only out for himself - par for the course," Biden-Harris 2024 Spokesperson James Singer said.
