Donald Trump says Taylor Swift 'will pay the price' for backing Kamala Harris
Former US President Donald Trump has issued a warning to singer Taylor Swift after she endorsed his rival Kamala Harris. Trump criticized Swift for her liberal stance and suggested she might face consequences in the marketplace. He also commented ...

"I was not a Taylor Swift fan...You couldn’t possibly endorse Biden. But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace," Trump said in an interview on “Fox & Friends” following his debate with Harris.
Swift formally endorsed Harris for president shortly after the debate and criticized Trump for previously using a fake image to suggest she supported him.
Trump said he likes Swift's friend Brittany Mahomes who found herself at the centre of a social media controversy and faced backlash after liking an Instagram post made by Donald Trump that outlined his 2024 campaign platform. The August 13 Instagram post included Trump's positions on deporting 'pro-Hamas radicals' and keeping 'men out of women’s sports.' Later Mahomes clapped back at trollers with a cryptic post who took her like as an endorsement of Trump's controversial stances.
Brittany Mahomes is married to Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, who is close friends with teammate Travis Kelce, Swift's boyfriend. Despite Swift and Brittany being seen hugging and being friendly at the US Open earlier this month, which stirred controversy on social media since Brittany is a Trump supporter.
