'Deportation Depot...': DeSantis announces 2nd detention facility in Florida | Immigration Crackdown
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced plans to launch a second immigration detention facility, dubbed 'Deportation Depot.' This new center, located at the Baker Correctional Institution in Sanderson, will process and deport undocumented migrants but will not hold them indefinitely. The move comes just a month after Florida opened its first facility, the 'Alligator Alcatraz,' in the Everglades.
