‘Degrade Iran’s capacity…’: US defends strikes on nukes at UN, says threat to Israel was real

US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities aimed to degrade its ability to build nuclear weapons, said acting US envoy to the U.N., Dorothy Shea, during a Security Council meeting on June 24.
