'David vs. Goliath': Talarico’s Bible-battle cry in Texas Senate race after being mocked by Trump
'David vs. Goliath' Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico is turning to a powerful biblical story to deliver his message ahead of the high-stakes Texas Senate race. Comparing his political battle to David taking on the giant Goliath, Talarico acknowledged that David may not have been as big or as strong as his opponent, but he had hope and a slingshot. Talarico then drew a parallel with his own campaign, declaring that 'the people of Texas are my slingshot.'
