Beijing: China is willing to ⁠deepen cooperation with Canada while eliminating "interference", Chinese Foreign Minister Wang ‌Yi ‌told his Canadian counterpart at ‌a meeting in Beijing on Thursday.

"China is willing to enhance communication with Canada, foster mutual trust, eliminate ‌interference ‍and deepen cooperation," ‍China's top diplomat told Canadian ‌Foreign Minister Anita Anand, who was part of the visiting delegation of Prime Minister Mark ‍Carney this week.

That would ensure that ‍bilateral ⁠relations ⁠remain steady, substantive and robust, said Wang, according to the Canadian Prime Minister's Office.
