China Earthquake: 6.8-magnitude quake jolts Sichuan province; over 46 dead, rescue ops underway

Over 50,000 people were relocated to safer locations after an earthquake of 6.8-magnitude caused damage to buildings that jolted Luding County in China's southwest Sichuan province. It has claimed the lives of 46 people so far. As of Monday night, 16 people were missing and over 50 injured, Wang Feng, deputy director of the Sichuan provincial emergency management department, told a media briefing in Chengdu.
