Car explodes near Wall Street’s Charging Bull statue, pedestrians flee in panic

Pedestrians in Lower Manhattan ran for cover on May 19 after a car caught fire and exploded near New York’s iconic Charging Bull statue, according to a CNN report.

Videos circulating on social media showed flames engulfing the vehicle as thick smoke billowed across the area near the popular tourist landmark in the city’s Financial District. Several bystanders were seen rushing away from the scene moments before the explosion.
