Canadian PM Carney pledges to invest USD1.5-billion in military assistance for Ukraine
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that Canada will invest 2 billion Canadian dollars (approximately 1.5 billion U.S. dollars) in new military assistance for Ukraine to enhance its military capabilities and provide urgently needed weapons. The funding of 2 billion Canadian dollars was committed at the June G7 Summit held in Canada's Kananaskis.
