Brazil's imprisoned, far-right former president Jair Bolsonaro was put into intensive care Friday to be treated for bronchopneumonia, his doctors said in a statement.

Bolsonaro, sentenced to prison for trying to overturn the 2022 presidential election, was moved into a hospital facility earlier Friday with symptoms including chills and vomiting, his son Flavio Bolsonaro said.
