Tarique Rahman, a leading prime ministerial hopeful, has called on citizens to vote. He believes casting ballots will thwart alleged conspiracies aiming to disrupt the elections. These elections mark a significant moment following a 2024 uprising....

"I firmly believe that if people in Bangladesh come out to cast their votes, conspiracies will not succeed," Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chief Rahman told reporters after voting in Dhaka, without giving further details on the alleged plots.
