Blast near Pakistan security force vehicle injures five
ISLAMABAD: At least five persons were injured today when a bomb exploded as a vehicle of paramilitary passed by in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province.

The incident occurred on the Qambrani Road of Quetta. A security official said it was a remote-control bomb and was planted in a rickshaw.

"Five people were injured while the rickshaw was destroyed and some vehicles damaged," the security official said.

None of the Frontier Corps soldiers were injured in the attack, but their vehicle was slightly damaged.

The security forces rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.

Nobody has taken responsibility but Baloch nationalists often attack the security forces in the region.
