‘Bitten more than he can chew’: UK spy chief slams Putin for false peace claims in Ukraine

UK spy chief Richard Moore warned on Sept 19 there is no evidence that Putin seeks peace in Ukraine, accusing him of hollow dialogue promises. Moore said Putin underestimated Ukrainians, trying to impose his ‘imperial will.’ He also stressed a nuclear-free Iran as a priority, urged Tehran to pursue compromise, and highlighted that peace in Gaza is essential to prevent further suffering of innocent Palestinians.
